The Morgan Allen Platt Foundation is a non-profit 501 (c) 3 organization, established in 2006, whose mission is to research, educate, archive artifacts and historical documents in order to honor the historical and contemporary contributions of American Indians in South Carolina.

Presented by the Morgan Allen Platt Foundation at Charles Towne Landing State Historic Site

This fall, the Morgan Allen Platt Foundation in partnership with the College of Charleston, Medical University of South Carolina, Charleston School of Law, The Citadel, Trident Technical College and the Charles Towne Landing State Historical Site to bring awareness to K-12 students and the Charleston community regarding the lives of the American Indian communities native to South Carolina. This exciting event will be held on November 4th-6th, 2010 at Charles Towne Landing State Historical Site.

The Expo will focus on the contributions of American Indians native South Carolina with a historical timeline of the first contact with settlers to present day involvement.

Educational exhibits and interaction will be for students only on the 4th and 5th.

All schools must register in order to attend.
